One  of  the  most  popular  (Odontoceti) “toothed”  type  “whales”  in  the  Ocean is  from  the  “Cetaceans” (Greek  for  whale)   “Family”  called “Delphinidae”  or  in  PLAIN old  “SURFER  language  DOLPHINS,   is   the  “GRAMPUS  ORCA”  or  “ORCINUS  ORCA”,     “KILLER WHALE”.

 It  is  the  largest  member  of  the  “dolphins” even  though  it  has  more  of “porpoise”  style  (no  beak)  short nose.   The  “boys”  can  grow  up  to  be  as  long  as  30  feet,  with  a  five  to  six  foot  high  back  fin,  and  weigh  up  to  (get this) 18,000  even  20,000  pounds,  how's  that  “surfer”  J  .  No  matter  how  many greasy-cheesy  hamburgers  you  eat,  you  probably  cant  top  the  Orca  Boys weight. 

As  for  the  “girls”,  they  don’t  get  as  long  as  the  “boys”,  but  they  can  get  up  to  10,000  to  12,000  pounds  in  weight,  and  have  shorter  back  fins  and  flippers.
