| THE TOOTH FAIRY” (PSYCHE) is done in the “English” Folk Tradition for fairies dressed in a translucent serpents shedded skin “enough to wrap a wee fairy in” (Shakespeare), mischievously dipping her toe in the water to see the reflection of the drop of water gravitating away and ripples of flowing waves out from the center, while holding daintily the transparent blanket made from a spiders network web, that’s shaped like a dolphin in silhouette. The artistic mastery is most emphasized in the hair that looks so real, you feel as if you can reach out and touch it, and the light and shadowing is correct whether you are standing on the front or on the backside of the dolphin shaped blanket.
